The business location Rheinbach is situated on the southern border of the dynamic economic and cultural region of the Cologne-Bonn area. In the "economical heart" of Europe, this favourable geographical position is unquestionably growth-supporting, a precondition for a successful entrepreneurial future. Markets in the Rhineland, the Ruhr area and in the Benelux countries can be reached easily.
A consequent, growth-oriented policy is the basis for an entrepreneurial future. With an area of 150 hectares (333 acres), that is already developed or securely planned, there is ample room for new firms to settle. At the University of Applied Sciences, campus Rheinbach, students are prepared for academic careers and are also trained in management and economics. The State College for Glass and Associated Techniques (Glasfachschule) provides craftsmen and -women for the glass and ceramic trade as well as candidates for the University.

Rheinbach has a direct access to motorway A 61 (Venlo/Koblenz). The City of Bonn can be easily reached by train in about 20 minutes. An additional train station between the new industrial areas is planned. Also the Cologne/Bonn airport is only about 40 km away.
